“On time” – at the planned time, neither late or early (đúng giờ, đúng thời điểm đã định).
Example: Class starts at 7.00 and he’s at there at 7.00. He’s on time (7h băt đầu học và đúng 7h có mặt ở lớp nên gọi là đúng giờ).
“In time” – with enought time to spare, before the last moment (kịp giờ đã định, có thể đến sớm hơn so với giờ hẹn, ko tính đến muộn).
Example: Class starts at 7.00 and he’s at there at 6.55. He’s in time.
In the end – finally, something has been thought or discussed about it after a long time.
Exp: In the end, i got a new laptop after thinking about 2 weeks.
At the end (of something) – at the point where something stop (vai trò như là 1 trạng ngữ chỉ thời gian).
Exp: I’m going away at the end of January.
